Air-Driven Gas Boosters

SKU: Air-Driven Gas Boosters

Haskel’s Air-Driven Gas Boosters are reliable pneumatic-driven gas boosters which can produce pressures up to 39,000 psi (2690 bar). These flexible and efficient air-driven gas boosters are used for virtually all industrial gases and ideal for gas pressure increases, high pressure gas transference, cylinder charging, and scavenging.

Why use the Air-Driven Gas Booster

Haskel’s Air-Driven Gas Boosters are proven to be safe, robust, reliable, compact, and easy to maintain. The pneumatic-driven gas boosters do not require electrical connection and provide a number of operational benefits. Available in single, double acting and two-stage models.

Applications
Haskel’s Air-Driven Gas Boosters can be used for various applications including:
  • Argon Cooling

  • ATEX certified
  • Infinitely variable cycling speed
  • Stall feature at pre-determined pressure to hold that pressure without consuming power
  • Problem-free stop/start applications
  • Easily automated, with many modification and control options available
  • Suitable for most liquids and liquefied gases
  • No need for air-line lubrication, which saves costs and prevents contamination
AG – Single Acting, Single Stage BoostersAGD – Single Stage, Double Acting BoostersAGT – Two Stage Boosters
Single Acting Single Stage AG boosters are the smallest and lightest with pressure capabilities up to 39,000 psi.Double Acting Single Stage “AGD” boosters pump twice the volume of a Single Acting, Single Stage Booster per cycle and require less air drive.Two-Stage “AGT” boosters provide efficient means of boosting to a high gas compression ratio since the ratio per stage is low.
